The Texas Brain and Spine Institute

The Texas Brain and Spine Institute was formed in 2005 to provide a comprehensive body of experts in the Brazos Valley dedicated to delivering neurological solutions in patient care, education and research. Although the TBSI membership is comprised of several individual medical practices and research laboratories throughout Central Texas, a central office in our new building has been established to navigate any inquiries to the appropriate expert for your needs. Our specialists work together to coordinate care and use their expertise to ensure the most comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan.

Taking good care of people is the foundation of everything we do. The treatment pathways at TBSI are based on a conservative, thoughtful plan. Whether treating a complex brain tumor or non-surgical spine pain, respect and compassion are the guiding principles.

TBSI incorporates today’s leading edge technologies and facilities in the care of patients. As of August 1, 2011, we have relocated the main offices of TBSI Imaging, TBSI Neuropsychology, TBSI eurosurgery, TBSI Pain Management, and TBSI Physical Therapy to The Texas A&M Health Science Center’s new campus on State Highway 47 in Bryan, Texas. The physicians working with TBSI practice in a variety of facilities and always work with patients to meet their preferences for diagnostic or treatment locations. We will continue to commute on a regular basis to our satellite offices throughout Central Texas in Bellville, Brenham, Groesbeck, Huntsville, La Grange, Madisonville and Temple to best serve our patients.

Our Partnership

Our partnership with The Texas A&M Health Science Center and its College of Medicine solidifies our commitment in translational research activities on the nervous system to enhance in the delivery and availability of state of the art treatment for TBSI patients, and contributes to the improvement in the care for all patients.

We are delighted to be in our new headquarters and invite you to come see the continued developments in building our Centers of Excellence.
